About LATA/Parallax Portsmouth, LLC

LATA/Parallax Portsmouth, LLC (LPP) is a single-purpose environmental remediation Limited Liability Corporation dedicated to providing remediation services to the United States Department of Energy at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant site. Formed by two small businesses - Los Alamos Technical Associates, Inc. and Parallax, Inc. - that have provided outstanding environmental services and nuclear operations across the DOE complex for over 30 years, the company is managed by a team focused on getting the job done safely and efficiently.

LPP is responsible for planning, managing, integrating and executing the following work:

~ Environmental restoration of contaminated areas;

~ Monitoring and reporting on environmental compliance;

~ Disposition of legacy radioactive waste;

~ Decontamination and decommissioning of inactive facilities;

~ Disposition of highly enriched uranium; and

~ Operation of the site waste storage facilities.
